Nissan Skyline GT-R / GTS-T / GTS-4

R32 Skyline
The Nissan Skyline HCR32 and BNR32 were produced from Early 1989 to Late 1993 in Coupe and Sedan form. It was later replaced by the subsequent HR33/ENR33/ER33/ECR33 and BCNR33 Coupe and Sedan generation produced from Mid 1993 to Mid 1997.
The HCR32 (GTS-4 and GTS-t) featured a robust RB 2.0 Litre Engine (RB20E/RB20DE/RB20DET) with a steel block in a comfortable rear wheel drive package. The RB20 came in Turbo and non Turbo form, Direct Injection and non Direct Injection power producing 125 Horsepower to 227 Horsepower. A few early HCR32's featured the CA18 from the 180SX Sports Coupe, and the Cefiro Sports Sedan.
The BNR32 GT-R only came as a two door coupe, featuring a 2.6 Litre, Twin-Turbocharged Fuel Injected Direct Injection Engine (RB26DETT). It came with all wheel drive (ATTESA-ETS for: Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All-Terrain + Electronic Torque Split) , a fortified 4 wheel turning system (Super Hicas) and was a top performer of it's time, garnering several victories in International and Privateer Motorsports.
Its lightweight, fully fortified frame, and electronic wizardry put it ahead of cars from top makes like Ferrari and Porsche, and leading competitors like Mazda's RX-7 and Toyota's Supra. It came in standard GT-R, GT-R Victory Special (V-Spec - Better Brakes, Recalibrated Suspension and Rubber) N1 (National Series - Extremely Lightened with Better Brakes and Rubber) and Victory Special II (V-Spec II - Evolution of the original V-Spec) variants.

R33 Skyline
In the middle of the 1993 model year, the HCR32 GTS-4 and GTS-t models of the Skyline were replaced by the R33 Series of Skyline, in both GTS and GTS-4 form.
The body was fortified yet again, and strengthened through the use of lighter materials, with stronger density. Suspensions were recalibrated from the R32 series, and brakes were upgraded all round. You could own Sedan and Coupe form yet again, with an RB20 in early generations, to a new 2.5 Litre RB25 engine, using the same principles as the RB20. The CA18 was put to rest, and a new turbocharger system using a more reliable bearing system was installed in all turbo models.
The epitome of the R33 range was indeed the BCNR33 GT-R.
Using the same RB26DETT as the BNR32 GT-R, it was given slightly more torque, and a more responsive ECU then the R32 GT-R's. The engine was essentially the same, and the suspension and drivetrain was improved greatly, still employing the All Wheel Drive and All Wheel Steering technologies. Brakes were also bumped up, and all R33 GT-R's featured Brembo brakes from the R32 V-Spec and N1 models. The R33 GT-R came in standard GT-R, V-Spec, V1, and V-Spec II models yet again.
All Nissan Skyline models came with either a 5-Speed Manual transmission, or a 4-Speed Automatic. They are great performers, and very reliable. They handle greatly, and can easily be tuned to incredible levels, if the owner so chooses. Some RB26DETT's have been bumped up to over 1200 RELIABLE Horsepower using meticulous Stroking and Boosting methods. The factory Steel Blocks of all RB models are durable well past the 500 Horsepower mark. The interiors are finished in cloth or leather, and are very simple, and ergonomically sound.
You are guaranteed a very fun, fast, and enjoyable all round car with any Nissan Skyline.
R34 Skyline
The BNR34 GT-R was available in Japan from 1999 to 2002. Due to current Canandian import regulations, it will not be legal for import into Canada until 2014.
